333-9495 appears to be the wrong phone number. The person at 333-9495 says the correct number is 333-9455.

I wanted to add my comment to all of the other people who said they got intermittent reception from WILL. I consistently loose reception to WILL during the McNeil-Lerer report. 30 minutes later I have reception of WILL. I sometimes loose reception at other times but that is random whereas loosing reception during the NewsHour is almost guaranteed. I revert to listening to it on my radio which receives channel 12.

Will I loose that ability when you do cut to total digital signal?

Heard Rich Warren’s discussion today on the digital conversion while in the car today.

One of the final callers from Kankakee had questions regarding WBBM-TV/CBS Channel 2 reception.

WBBM is currently broadcasting its digital signal on Channel 3.  Upon the effective date of the digital conversion, WBBM will move its digital signal to VHF Channel 12 and increase its power.

I live 2 miles SW of the Chicago Loop and on a secondary TV, my over-the-air reception on WBBM DT 3 is sporadic.

Also upon the effective date of the digital conversion, there will be one other channel change that could create new reception problems:  WLS DT is currently on UHF-52—on the conversion date, WLS will relocate to VHF-Channel 7.

Additionally, on the conversion date, all of the other digital channels above DT-51 will relocate to new lower-numbered channels.  In addition to WLS moving to DT-7, (1) WGBO-66 (DT-53) will relocate to UHF-38 (vacated by WCPX); (2) WXFT-60 (DT-59) will relocate to UHF-44 (vacated by WSNS).

Additionally, here is a link to a UHF-only indoor (unamplified) antenna available at Amazon.com that some family members (Deerfield) say has been satisfactory (although it’s done nothing for their VHF WBBM DT-3 reception)—Phillips UHF Silver Sensor Antenna.  Here’s a link—it appears to be widely available online.

The able date of the agenda conversion, there will be one added approach change that could actualize new accession problems: WLS DT is currently on UHF-52—on the about-face date, WLS will backpack to VHF-Channel 7.
