No Gambling in China

While we were in Zhujiajiao, we learned from our tour guide, Ivan, that it is illegal to gamble in China. But he said that sometimes people cheat the system by putting things like pieces of paper on the table to use as collateral when they play Mahjong or cards at local tea houses—like the one shown below. I didn’t see any gambling going on here, though.

If there’s no gambling, what’s the point of playing? For fun?

Hi dude. Glad to hear China has that policy. Gambling is no good, plus I have very infrequently won when I have gambled in the past. Keep shooting those blog spots out. I need to do some reading to keep my vocabalary (haha) up to par. That was a joke of course I know how to spell vocabablery. smile love you lots.
