The New York Choral Artists are featured in Brahms’ “A German Requiem” and John Adams’ “On the Transmigration of Souls”. Kurt Masur conducted the Brahms’, and Lorin Maazel conducted the Adams’.

This week on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 you’ll hear Beethoven’s “9th Symphony” from New York, Brahms’ “2nd Symphony” from Chicago, Bruch’s “1st Violin Concerto” from San Francisco, Liszt’s “1st Piano Concerto” from Carnegie Hall, then Sunday, Mozart’s K. 388 “Wind Serenade” from Lincoln Center and music by Ravel on the “Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival”.
