Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 you’ll hear Brahms’ “String Sextet No. 2” and Rachmaninov’s “Trio elegiaque” on “The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center”. At 8:00 you’ll hear Brahms’ “Clarinet Quintet” on the “Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival”.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the San Francisco Symphony. You’ll hear Tchaikovsky’s “4th Symphony” and Mackey’s “Portals, Scenes, and Celebrations”. Michael Tilson Thomas conducts. Also on the program Prokofiev’s “1st Violin Concerto” with soloist Gil Shaham.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”.  Alan Gilbert leads the Philharmonic in Haydn’s “88th Symphony” and Ravel’s “Mother Goose” complete ballet score. Also on the program “Selected Songs for Mezzo-Soprano” by Schubert.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “Carnegie Hall Live”.  Gustavo Dudamel leads the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra in an all-Brahms program.  You’ll hear the “1st Symphony”, the “Academic Festival Overture” and “Variations on a Theme by Haydn”.
