This broadcast is the recording of the world premiere at Disney Hall with the Los Angeles Philharmonic on the March 7 of this year.

At 8:00 Joyce Yang is the piano soloist in Schumann’s Opus 12 “Fantasie Pieces” on Center Stage from Wolf Trap. This special features first-hand recollections from composer Stravinsky, conductor Pierre Monteux and by major artists of today. Lengthy excerpts are conducted by Valery Gergiev.
