Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra”. Lang Lang is the soloist in Gershwin’s ‘”Rhapsody in Blue”. Also in the program Chabrier’s “Espana”, Shostakovich’s “First Suite for Variety Orchestra” and John Adams’ “The Chairman Dances”.

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. You’ll hear famous waltzes by Johann Strauss, Jr., Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition”, Janacek’s “Sinfonietta”, and Copland’s “Dance Symphony”.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. You’ll hear Haydn’s oratorio “The Creation” conducted by Leonard Bernstein. The Philharmonic is joined by the Camerata Singers and vocal soloists Judith Raskin, Alexander Young, and John Reardon.

Saturday night at 5:00 on FM 90.9 you’ll hear "New Year's Day in Vienna 2022” as the Vienna Philharmonic led by Daniel Barenboim presents its ever-popular annual concert from the Golden Hall of the Musikverein in Vienna. You'll hear your favorite waltzes, polkas and more. Our broadcast was pre-recorded hours earlier in the day in Vienna.

Friday night at 9:00 on FM 90.9 ring in the [Happy] New Year with a newly recorded “Jazz Piano Christmas” followed by four hours of jazz.  You’ll hear Quintetto Astor Piazzolla, the Brandee Younger Quartet, Cory Henry, and Keyon Harrold and The Louis Cole Big Band.
