Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Young Euro Classic, Part 2”, from the Deutsche Welle Festival Concerts. The European Union Youth Orchestra plays Mozart’s K. 136 “Divertimento in D”. Also on the program Bach’s “2nd Cello Suite”.

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. You’ll hear Dvorak’s “5th Symphony” and selections from Smetana’s “The Bartered Bride” conducted by Neeme Järvi. Also on the program Barber’s “Cello Concerto” with soloist Alisa Weilerstein.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. You’ll hear Holst’s “The Planets” conducted by Zubin Mehta and Respighi’s “Roman Festivals” and “The Pines of Rome” conducted by Giuseppe Sinopoli.

This week on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 you’ll hear Holst’s  “The Planets” from New York, Dvorak’s “5th Symphony” from Chicago, Mozart’s “K. 136 Divertimento” from Berlin, Haydn’s “Philosopher Symphony” from Pittsburgh, then Sunday Bartok’s “String Divertimento” from Lincoln Center, and an episode of “Early Music Now”.
