Bachfest Leipzig 1 on “The Evening Concert”

 

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the first of two “Bachfest Leipzig” programs from Deutsche Welle Radio. Georg Christoph Biller conducts vocal soloists, the St. Thomas Choir and Boys’ Choir and the Gewandhaus Orchestra in the Mozart-orchestrated version of Handel’s “Messiah”. Also on the program: the Cantata #140, and some Chorale Preludes for solo organ.
