Emanuel Ax plays Beethoven’s “Emperor” Piano Concerto in Chicago

Tonight at 7:00 on The Evening Concert Emanuel Ax is the piano soloist in Beethoven’s “5th Piano Concerto”, the “Emperor”, with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.  David Robertson conducts. Also on the program, Hindemith’s “Metamorphoses on Themes of Carl Maria von Weber” and Rachmaninoff’s “Symphonic Dances”.
