Joshua Bell plays “My Favorite Violin Concerto”

 

Tonight, it’s the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra led by music director Manfred Honeck. Joshua Bell is the soloist in Brahm’s Violin Concerto. Also on the program,

three of Richard Strauss’ tone poems: “Don Juan,” “Death and Transfiguration” and “Till Eulenspiegels’ Merry Pranks.”
