Liszt by Trifonov, the CSO plays ‘Sensemaya’, Mozart’s “Bassoon Concerto”: the Evening Concert

 

This week on “The Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 Daniil Trifonov plays Liszt at Carnegie Hall, It’s Revueltas’ “Sensemaya” from the CSO, Prokofiev’s “3rd Piano Concerto” from the San Francisco Symphony, Thursday . . . Mozart’s “Bassoon Concerto” from the New York Philharmonic. .  . then Sunday, chamber music from Lincoln Center and the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival.
