Mahler’s “7th Symphony” featured on tonight’s Chicago Symphony Orchestra concert

 

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s our weekly Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast.  Guest conductor Bernard Haitink conducts the group in Mahler’s “7th Symphony”. The “7th” had its U.S. premiere April 15, 1921. Frederick Stock conducted the Chicago Symphony Orchestra on that date.
