Tonight, guest conductor Gianandrea Noseda leads the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in excerpts from Romeo and Juliet by Hector Berlioz, and pianist Nicholas Angelich is soloist on Brahms’ 2nd Piano Concerto.
Tonight we'll have The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center featuring U of I's own Jupiter String Quartet performing quartets by Haydn and Beethoven. At 8 pm, it's the 2012 Gilmore International Keyboard Festival with Ravel’s Piano Trio.
Tonight, it’s the New York Philharmonic This Week. Music director Alan Gilbert leads the group in Tchaikovsky’s melancholic 6th Symphony, the “Pathetique.” Also on the program, pianist Rudolf Buchbinder is the soloist in Brahms’ 2nd Piano Concerto.
Tonight, it's the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra led by Music Director Edo de Waart. Large-scale symphonic works are on the program, like Debussy’s symphonic suite “The Sea” and Bruckner’s 6th Symphony.

Tonight, on what will mark the three-month anniversary of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., WILL-FM will broadcast a memorial concert that features seven of Chicago's finest children's choirs.

Also on the program: Mozart’s K.365 Concerto for Two Pianos, with a twist: Orli Shaham plays “Piano One” and three different players play one movement each of the “Second Piano” part.
Tonight, we present the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra led by guest conductor James Gaffigan. Concertmaster Frank Almond is the soloist in Glazunov’s Violin Concerto. Also on the program: symphonies by Haydn, his 26th, and by Dvorak, his 6th Symphony.
