Tonight, guest conductor Gianandrea Noseda leads the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in excerpts from Romeo and Juliet by Hector Berlioz, and pianist Nicholas Angelich is soloist on Brahms’ 2nd Piano Concerto.

Tonight we'll have The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center featuring U of I's own Jupiter String Quartet performing quartets by Haydn and Beethoven. At 8 pm, it's  the 2012 Gilmore International Keyboard Festival with Ravel’s Piano Trio.

Rudolf Buchbinder at the piano

Tonight, it’s the New York Philharmonic This Week. Music director Alan Gilbert leads the group in Tchaikovsky’s melancholic 6th Symphony, the “Pathetique.” Also on the program, pianist Rudolf Buchbinder is the soloist in Brahms’ 2nd Piano Concerto.

Tonight we'll have The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center featuring Schumann’s Piano Quintet and works by Brahms and Joachim. At 8 pm, it’s the 2012 Gilmore International Keyboard Festival. Pianist Lori Sims plays the complete Goldberg Variations by Bach.
