Mentor comment test

I am a U of I student who mentors at Statton Elementary School.  I became involved in mentoring through the Illini Mentor Program, a U of I student organization.  Our organization is dedicated to fostering meaningful and consistent relationships that help children and U of I students learn, grow, and build skills and understanding through the mentoring experience.  This past year we had approximately 50 university students spend 2 hours a week mentoring 42 children at Stratton Elementary School and at the Don Moyer Boys and Girls Club during our Saturday mentoring program.
