What an incredibly smart and compassionate girl!  We’d do well to listen to girls!

Thank you Aminah for your insights and compassion.  You are so insightful to go beyond stating bullying is wrong but to think about the WHY bullying happens and what the next steps can be for all involved.

You are a thoughtful young lady.

Aminah, you are a very articulate and concise speaker. I realized that in 52 seconds, you were able to convey valuable and useful information and that some adults use 152 minutes to express the same message. How insightful and sensitive you are to one of the root causes of a very real issue. Thank you for your message.

What is happening in our children’s lives that is making them display mean behavior? Aminah is raising critical issues that we adults must explore in dealing with the issue of bullying.  Thank you Aminah!

Aminah, very well spoken. To hear you speak as to why someone might bully is exactly on point. You speak with such compassion for such a young person. Maintain your good thoughts and pure spirit!

What a voice of wisdom, Aminah!
Your words are well beyond your years.
They bring hope by helping us understand that what we see others doing is beyond what it looks like.  This gives us another way to approach our problems in relationships to find, root causes below the surface of how people act out of their pain, as well as their passion for others.  Your voice is a voice of compassion and understanding that will improve the way we can help one another.

It goes without saying that we would do well listening to voices like Aminah. We would do even better enacting policies with Aminah’s spirit guiding our work.
