Douglass West is an alumnus of Champaign’s public schools having attended Dr. Howard, Edison Middle School and Champaign High School. He is a volunteer member of the discipline equity task force, the discipline advisory committee and the equity audit committee for the Unit 4 school district. Mr. West attended the Great Schools Together community meeting at Barkstall Elementary School on May 8, 2008. WILL interviewed her afterwards.
