Clear the Air
Thank you to everyone who donated to our Clear the Air campaign! We exceeded our goal and raised over $43,000.This drive was an experiment in reducing long pledge interruptions. Since we succeeded, we will plan to do this again next year. Stay tuned.
Your Pledge Fights Hunger
Giving right now means you’ll do two great things – support the station that brings you the radio programs you depend on, and help feed the hungry in our community. Common Ground Food Co-op will contribute the cost of 8 meals to the Eastern Illinois
Foodbank for the first 300 pledges WILL receives. Meaning yourpledge supports two great causes.
Special Gifts Help You Grow Your Garden
WILL Radio is partnering with the Sustainable Student Farm at the University of Illinois for a garden-focused promotion. Everyone who pledges at the $120 is eligible to receive three starter plants (one each of basil, tomato, and pepper) grown by the farm as a thank-you gift. Plants will be available for pick-up on Saturday, April 13 at the annual Horticulture Club Mom's Day Flower Show at the U of I Stock Pavilion. Master gardeners from WILL-TV’s Mid-American Gardener will be on hand to answer questions about growing these plants and others in your garden. To request this special thank you gift, go here and select A Trio of Plants as your gift. Please note: we will not be able to deliver plants to anyone who cannot make it to the Mom’s Day Flower Show, but we do have a full list of alternative thank you gifts for you to choose from.
Everyone who makes a pledge during the drive will receive a packet of vegetable seeds compliments of Illini FS. With Spring just a few weeks away, our keyword is growth -- growth in funding support, growth in ourmembership numbers, growth in supporting a community food bank, and growth in our own backyards. As always, we thank you for supporting your public radio station!
