Festival for Early Music, Cologne on the “Deutsche Welle Festival Concerts”

Tonight at 7:00 on “The Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the “Festival for Early Music, Cologne” on the Deutsche Welle Festival Concerts. You’ll hear excerpts from one of the earliest examples of English opera: Purcell’s “Dido and Aeneas”.  Also on the program works by Byrd, Tallis, Dowland, and other composers of the era.
