Leonidas Kavakos plays Prokofiev’s 2nd Violin Concerto with the New York Philharmonic

Tonight at 7:00 on The Evening Concert Leonidas Kavakos is the violin soloist in Prokofiev’s “2nd Violin Concerto” with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra.  Lionel Bringuier (brin gee-AY) conducts. Also on the program, Dukas’ “Sorcerer’s Apprentice”, Kodaly’s “Dances of Galanta” and Stravinsky’s “Firebird Suite”.
