Fire Damages Charleston Outdoors Store

Authorities say an eastern Illinois outdoors supply business has been severely damaged by fire.

The Mattoon Journal Gazette and (Charleston) Times-Courier reports that firefighters were called to Prairie Outfitters near the corner of 18th and Harrison in Charleston around 6 p.m. on Saturday.

No injuries were immediately reported. Damage estimates were not immediately available.

The store opened in 2000 and carries fishing gear, among other things.
