The Fifteenth Amendment seems to be the well-settled law of the land, but in February the Supreme Court heard oral argument in a case that challenges parts of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, which was believed necessary to ensure that the right to vote was enjoyed by all.  In this week’s Legal Issues in the News, Christine Hurt gives us both sides of the issue.
