Money Can’t Buy You Love: The Story of Gravity Payments (rebroadcast)

Does money buy happiness? The experience of one company suggests that “No” is the answer. In April 2015, the CEO of Gravity Payments announced that all employees would receive a minimum salary of $70,000 a year. 

This experiment with narrowing the income gap within one company triggered employee discord. It also be came part of a court battle between the company’s co-founders, the Price brothers. What went wrong? Find out in this week’s radio commentary.
