Jazz Guitarist Stephane Wrembel and Classical Cellist Joshua Roman

French-born jazz guitarist Stephane Wrembel built his reputation as a stylist in the mode of Django Reinhardt but has branched out to encompass many different types of music. He’ll play in Urbana Saturday night, and he’ll join me on the Friday edition of “Live and Local.” I’ll also talk with the young Seattle-based cellist Joshua Roman, whose own roots as a rock musician inform his career choices today. He’ll play with the Illinois Symphony Friday and Saturday.
