Live and Local with Kevin Kelly, heard weekdays from noon to 1p on FM 90.9, will keep you informed about local music performances by performers both local and national. The program will include interviews with the artists, as well as educators, students, administrators and audience members. You'll hear features on the many performing groups throughout our listening area, a daily calendar of music events, and (of course!) lots of music.

Astor Piazzolla was an Argentinean composer and bandoneón virtuoso whose concert tango music has become increasingly popular and influential. On the Monday edition of “Live and Local,” we’ll hear a local quintet that specializes in Piazzolla’s music, Tango Espejo, playing live in our studio in advance of their show next weekend in Urbana.
