The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols at Eastern Illinois University

The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols at King's College in Cambridge, England, was first held in 1918 and has been broadcast internationally virtually every year since. Many churches and colleges in the U.S. have recreated this event in their own way, and Eastern Illinois University will do so Thursday night in Charleston. I'll talk with director Richard Rossi on the Tuesday edition of Live and Local. We'll also hear about the tradition of a living, singing Christmas tree in Sadorus.
