Bob McChesney is a research professor in the Institute of Communications Research and the Graduate School of Information and Library Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. "The media are central to all our lives," he says. "Yet the media are the most frequently misunderstood parts of our lives. We want to help people understand the role of media in society."

I really enjoyed this particular show. I listen each week, but this one really stood out. A lot of great information given in a wonderful style, a little less academic or pedantic than others. Very engaging.

I loved the part where Michael compliment you, Bob.

You, too, are an inspiring figure to me: for your intelligence, dedication, values. There is a pantheon for progressives, and you are unquestionably a member.
