A measure pending in the Illinois legislature would help high school students know what kind of college credit to expect for their advanced placement test scores. 

On Saturday, April 25, 2015, a 7.8-magnitude earthquake hit Nepal destroying buildings and infrastructure. Officials are reported over 8,000 dead and over 14,000 were injured. Now, a second earthquake hit Tuesday. Students of color at the University of Illinois say they hear racist remarks, are subjected to stereotypes, feel excluded in group projects or receive other negative messages based on race, according to a new report on race relations.
