Midwest Seeing More Frequent Flooding

Floods in the midwest and nearby states are not getting bigger, they're just occurring more often. That's the conclusion of a new study by the University of Iowa Flood Center after looking at 50 years of river levels in 14 states

Finally, pumpkin pie might be getting the attention it deserves from lawmakers in Springfield. Illinois grows 95 percent of pumpkins processed in the United States, and lawmakers have proposed a bill making pumpkin pie the official pie of Illinois.
