Louisville Tops Michigan for NCAA Title

Rick Pitino capped the greatest week of his life with the prize he wanted most of all.  Luke Hancock produced another huge game off the bench, scoring 22 points, and Pitino became the first coach to win national titles at two schools when relentless Louisville rallied to beat Michigan 82-76 in the NCAA championship game Monday night.

The DOMA, Prop 8 Waiting Game Is On

A lot of people are waiting to see how the U.S. Supreme Court will rule on California’s Prop 8 ban on same-sex marriage, and the federal Defense of Marriage Act, or DOMA.  Those include one couple in Champaign.

Ebert Services Monday in Chicago

Funeral services have been set for Urbana native and longtime film critic Roger Ebert, who passed away Thursday.
