Former Parkland Professor In Super Bowl Doritos Commercial

This Sunday, many will be watching the Super Bowl not just for the game itself but for the commercials that surround the broadcast. One personal in particular who will be watching is former Parkland College Theater Professor and professional actor Jim Coates. He is in a commercial vying for a one million dollar prize from Doritos.

Coates doesn’t appear until the end of the commercial, but his appearance is pivotal to the punch line. IPM's Jason Croft spoke with him recently by phone from Phoenix, Arizona, where he now lives. His Doritos commercial “Time Machine” is in the running for a one million dollar prize. It will be airing during the Super Bowl this Sunday.
