Police Not Seeking Suspects In Pontiac Motel Deaths

Investigators aren't releasing details about the deaths of two people who were found along with a badly injured person inside a Pontiac motel room. But they aren't looking for any suspects.

Livingston County Coroner Michael Burke says autopsies are being conducted Wednesday on the two people found dead Tuesday in the Palamar Motel in Pontiac. The town is about 40 miles northeast of Bloomington.

Burke isn't releasing their names because relatives haven't been notified.

In a statement, Pontiac police say investigators aren't "looking for anyone else involved.'' But the release doesn't provide details and investigators haven't returned calls.

According to the Illinois Route 66 Hall of Fame & Museum in Pontiac, the now partially closed motel was once a Route 66 destination.
