Urbana Man 5th Person To Die In July I-55 Crash
Officials say an Urbana man involved in a semi-truck crash outside Chicago has died, bringing the accident's death toll to five.
The Cook County Medical Examiner says 64-year-old Timothy Osburn died Wednesday evening at a hospital in the Chicago suburb of Maywood.
Illinois State Police say a speeding semi-trailer truck changed lanes on July 21 on Interstate 55, causing a chain-reaction accident.
The other victims were 11-year-old Piper Britton, Osburn's daughter, and 43-year Kimberly K. Britton of Urbana, Osburn's wife, 54-year-old Vicky L. Palacios of Coal City and 48-year-old Urlike P. Blopleh of Channahon.
In a separate accident on the same day a sixth person died on the same interstate when two semi-trailer trucks collided.
