10th Annual Pygmalion Festival Kicks Off

The 10th annual Pygmalion Festival starts Thursday in Champaign-Urbana. What started as strictly an indie rock festival has grown to include a literary festival and a hand-made goods bazaar. And next year, a tech conference will be thrown into the mix.

Seth Fein is the Founder and Creative Director of the festival. He wants Pygmalion to be another reminder of what he feels makes Champaign-Urbana great, “We hope people see Pygmalion in the same way they see Roger Ebert’s film festival and the Illinois Marathon and Elnora the guitar festival … these really rewarding and intimate gatherings of people that is intended to make our lives better here.”

Illinois Public Media's Jason Croft sat down with Fein and asked him first to give a thumbnail description of the Pygmalion Festival.
