Successful comedians often take on the big issues: The mass shooting at a Charleston, South Carolina church is one recent example. And those comedians face a question:  When it comes to joking about serious events, where do you draw the line?

Illinois Public Media summer intern Dan Collins talked with several comedians in central Illinois and filed this report.
