At the ship museum, visitors not only have a chance to see ship models used in movies like Cleopatra, Tora Tora Tora, Ben Hur, Showboat and Tugboat Annie, they also can talk to the collector, Charles Lozar, about where he acquired the models and all the rest of the items in the museum. He started collecting as a child 50 years ago. He eventually became an architect, but he never lost his love of the ocean.

Prairie Fire features residents of Sadorus, recalling March 20, 1976, when the most violent tornado in Champaign County history destroyed much of their town.
Host Alison Davis interviews people who remember the day the sky turned black, including a couple whose home was destroyed. Viewers will see film of the huge funnel, which observers said was as wide as eight football fields.
Davis talks to Wayne Hecht, former director of Assembly Hall, about that day. As the dangerous tornado headed in the direction of Champaign-Urbana, he had to decide what to do with the people packed into the arena for a state high school basketball tournament. During the twister segment, WILL-AM 580’s meteorologist Ed Kieser explains the weather conditions that create tornadoes.
