Illinois Chamber Symphony: Monster Mash

Roger presents the Illinois Chamber Symphony's "Monster Mash" concert with Saint-Saens' Carnival of the Animals and Gruber's Frankenstein. In the second piece, childlike fantasy collides with adult nightmare as we meet Frankenstein, Miss Dracula, Superman, Batman and Robin, often in macabre yet humourous situations. Robert Managialardi is chansonnier and Alastair Willis is the conductor.
