Jupiter Quartet at the Music Barn Festival

The Jupiter Quartet, the U of I School of Music’s quartet-in-residence, opened the 2014 Allerton Music Barn Festival with a performance of the Dvořák String Quartet in F Major, op 96 (“American”), spirituals with faculty artist Ollie Watts Davis, and the Brahms Sextet No. 2 in G Major, op. 36, with winners of the Quartet’s 2nd annual Guest Artist Award, Kim Uwate, viola, and Seungwon Chung, cello.
