All this month, host Roger Cooper presents concerts of The Prairie Ensemble to salute the group and conductor Kevin Kelly. First up, the Around the World in One Night concert. Kevin, who also hosted Live and Local on WILL-FM, has moved out of the area.

Roger presents "Swing, Swing Swing: Remembering Benny Goodman's Carnegie Hall Concert" from the 2013 Allerton Music Barn Festival. Clarinetist Ken Peplowski, former sideman with Benny Goodman, joins the UI Jazz Concert Band, under the direction of Joel Spencer, to perform arrangements from Goodman’s landmark 1938 Carnegie Hall concert on the occasion of its 75th anniversary.
