When the issue of dog behavior is discussed, you’ll often hear certain misbehavior attributed to dominance. But one University of Illinois expert says the science doesn’t back that up.
The animal rights group Stop Animal Exploitation Now says the University of Illinois has shown a pattern of negligence, after 22 animal deaths in just over a year. There's still an open investigation with the USDA tied to the deaths of five cows in August of 2015.
Five of the animals died following abdominal surgery last month. A USDA inspection report means more vets and vet technicians monitoring students, having vetinary staff and student monitor animals after operations, and doing procedures in surgery suites.
