By the People: A Lincoln Portrait
“By the People” is the video project for the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial developed by Conferences and Institutes in the Office of Continuing Education of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and WILL-TV.
Texts were selected to represent the most famous speeches in Lincoln’s career as well as to reflect on topics of interest in east central Illinois at the time of the project. Readers were recorded at WILL studios on October 28 and 30, 2008.
Visit the Office of Continuing Education By the People: A Lincoln Portrait website for more information.
