Hi, parents! We've created a special television schedule of PBS KIDS programs to support you children's language arts learning. All programs air on WILL-TV's main channel, 12.1, at the times listed below.

Super Why

Subject: Language Arts
Ages:  3 – 6

Super WHY! is the first preschool series designed to help children learn to read through interactive story adventures. Each 22-minute episode features a team of fairytale superheroes who soar into classic storybooks and use their unique reading-based powers to find answers to everyday preschool problems. With curriculum guidelines established by the National Reading Panel, Super WHY! teaches preschoolers key literacy skills, including letter identification, decoding, encoding, spelling, and reading comprehension.

Molly of Denali

Subject: Social Studies, Language Arts
Ages:  4 – 8

Join Molly, an Alaska Native girl, her dog Suki, and friends Tooey and Trini on their adventures in epically beautiful Alaska. Molly of Denali is designed to help kids ages 4-8 develop knowledge and skills for interacting with informational texts through video content, interactive games, and real-world activities. In each episode, Molly’s life and adventures are enhanced, illuminated, and broadened by using and creating a variety of informational texts.

ARTHUR is an animated series aimed at viewers ages four to eight. ARTHUR's goals are to help foster an interest in reading and writing, to encourage positive social skills, and to model age-appropriate problem-solving strategies.
