Dvorak’s “New World” Symphony starts a week of ‘classic’ concert repertory on the “Evening Concert”

This week on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 you’ll hear “Philharmonic Firsts” on “The New York Philharmonic This Week”, then Gil Shaham plays Mendelssohn’s “Violin Concerto” in Chicago, it’s Mahler’s “Seventh Symphony” from San Francisco, Chopin’s “2nd Piano Concerto” from Pittsburgh, and Sunday chamber music from Lincoln Center and Santa Fe.
