2017 Illinois Marathon Brings Winners, Good Weather, Marriage Proposal

After two years of challenging weather, runners in Saturday's 2017 Illinois Marathon finally got a break. Conditions were dry with temperatures in the mid-40s, though wind gusts topped 20 mph. Organizers say this year's events included more than 17,000 people.

Art Theater Projector Repaired

After nearly a week without a working projector, downtown Champaign’s Art Theater Co-Op is ready to show movies again. Manager Austin McCann says the theater had to go dark a few days ago, when their hundred-thousand-dollar digital movie projector malfunctioned.

Immigration Forum Rallies In Response To Reports Of Local ICE Raids

The Champaign-Urbana community is speaking out against reported Immigration raids in the past couple of weeks. Members of the CU Immigration Forum says Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, have targeted unspecified locations in the area at least twice this month. About 40 people rallied outside the federal courthouse in Urbana Friday.
