The Illini men got all they could handle from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis Tuesday night in Champaign.

Illinois won with a score of 85-77. But it was a two-possession game and the Jaguars had the ball with less than a minute to go before a Jaylon Tate steal sealed the win.

Winthrop Defeats Illini Men’s Basketball 84-80 In Overtime

Winthrop University defeated the Illini men's basketball team 84-80 in overtime Monday night at the State Farm Center. The Eagles erased a 10-point-deficit in the last 2:43 of regulation. The game was part of the NIT Season Tip-Off tournament.

Illini Fall To Iowa, 28-0

On a 37-degree day when a stiff wind made it feel much colder, Iowa used LeShun Daniels Jr.'s 159 yards and two touchdowns and a punt-return score by Riley McCarron to shut down Illinois, 28-0, closing out the home portion of the season for the Illini, who fell to 3-8 overall, and 2-6 in the Big Ten.

Rantoul Park Bd Meets For Last Time, After Voters Approve Dissolution

The Rantoul Park Board met for the final time Thursday night.

The eleven-minute meeting at the Rantoul Business Center comes five days before the date on which the Champaign County Clerk is expected to certify results of a referendum dissolving the Rantoul Park District and leaving its assets to Rantoul village government.
