Monday Storms Spawn 3 Tornadoes Across Illinois

The National Weather Service now says that at least three tornadoes touched down Monday across southwestern and central Illinois. Roofs were damaged, trees were uprooted and power interrupted but no serious injuries were reported.

U.S. Strikes At ISIS In Kobani As Kurds Claim Progress

The besieged city of Kobani, Syria, has seen an increase in air strikes and fighting, with Kurdish fighters in the area saying they've stopped the extremist group ISIS from advancing.
