New Illinois Billboard Campaign Targets Adult Learners

Nearly 1.3 million Illinois adults lack a high school diploma or equivalent, and more than two million speak something other than English as their primary language, according to the Illinois Community College Board. The ICCB is launching a new billboard campaign to urge those Illinoisans to enroll in adult education programs.

No. 10 Penn State beat Illinois 63-24 Friday night, by scoring 35 points in the fourth quarter, after getting all they could handle from an Illini team showing signs of a turnaround in coach Lovie Smith's third season.
