Obama Authorizes Guard, Reserve Call-Up For Ebola

President Barack Obama is authorizing the Pentagon to call up reserve and National Guard troops if they are needed to assist in the U.S. response to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.

Top Dallas Hospital Official To Tell Lawmakers ‘We Made Mistakes’

A top official from the Dallas hospital where the first Ebola patient diagnosed in the U.S. was treated and two nurses who cared for him have become infected is expected to testify before a House panel today and acknowledge mistakes in the facility's handling of the situation.

CDC: 2nd Health Worker ‘Should Not Have Traveled’

The director of the Centers for Disease Control says a second health care worker who has tested preliminarily positive for the Ebola virus will be transferred from a Dallas hospital to Atlanta.
