Come and Get It! Your Family Dinner Favorites

It's probably the most-asked question ever: "What's for Dinner?"

Back in October 2012, we at Illinois Public Media and WILL-TV set out to answer that question with a special TV show dedicated to, well... dinner! Making TV is quite a process; making dinner shouldn't be. With help from our viewers and listeners who sent in recipes and offered to cook on the show - as well as our sponsors (see list below), who provided our beautiful set and really made all the difference in getting this program on the air - we got it done. Well done.

Viewers got their first inkling of what the show was all about with the following promo, which aired on WILL-TV starting in January 2013. In it, WILL's Lisa Bralts shows off her mad knife skills AND wears a colander on her head:

The full show debuted on March 4, 2013, and aired several more times in the ensuing two weeks. If you missed it, that's OK, because we've got the entire show for you right here.

Don't have time to watch the whole show? No problem! We've divided the program into segments for easy viewing:

Braised Chicken Thighs in Balsamic Vinegar with bacaro's Chef Thad Morrow (and Gus)

Curry Kale and Potato Casserole with Valorie Deichman

Grilled Mussels With Lime Butter with Karen Pope

Meet the Farmers with Hans and Katie Bishop of PrairiErth Farm in Atlanta, IL

Mama Shorty's Buttermilk Pie with John Parker

Powerballs with Paige and Melissa Siegmund

Turkey Manicotti with Carrie Penning Bush

White Bean Stew with Italian Sausage and Kale with Chef Alisa DeMarco of Prairie Fruits Farm

Meet the Sommelier with Todd Fusco of Corkscrew Wine Emporium/Buvons

Closing Remarks/Credits
