Plaintiffs In Peoples Gas Lawsuit Speak Out

Some of the 17 plaintiffs in a lawsuit filed against People’s Gas spoke out at a Mahomet Aquifer Task Force meeting on Monday in Mahomet. They asked the state advisory panel to help ensure they have clean water, after their water wells were contaminated by a gas leak.


A measure aimed to bridge the gender wage gap was approved by the Illinois General Assembly last month.

Push To Bridge Gender Wage Gap Continues

A measure aimed to bridge the gender wage gap was approved by the Illinois General Assembly last month. This is the second attempt by lawmakers to get a ‘no salary history’ initiative into law. Employers would no longer be able to ask someone what they previously earned during interviews.

Del Monte Recalls Vegetable Trays Sold In Illinois

Del Monte is recalling 28 oz. vegetable trays sold in Illinois, because of suspicion they are associated with outbreaks of cyclosporiasis, an intestinal illness caused by a microscopic parasite.
